Bomb Cyclone

HAT:: White + Warren (in black and a similar style) // JACKET:: Driftwood // SWEATER:: J.O.A (similar here) // JEANS:: Citizens of Humanity // BOOTS:: Marc Fisher

This is definitely not what I'm wearing during today's crazy "Bomb Cyclone" storm. Yes, that's the name they are actually giving this storm going up the East Coast. I'm still in my PJs...but this hat has not come off my head since the temps dropped low enough that I could wear it. The White + Warren Cashmere beanie is my all time favorite hat. It has become so popular that it is practically sold out on every site. It is pricier than your average winter beanie but it's because it's made from super soft cashmere. It's also extremely warm and comfortable. If you like it in the black, then I would get it now before it's gone. My color is "truffle heather" and I cannot find it in stock anywhere. I'll let you know if it comes back in stock!

My friend had this exact same sweater but from Zara that she bought last year and I always loved it. I love having sweaters that are a bit longer in the back. This one is by J.O.A. and I bought it on Shopbop. It's no longer in stock there but found it here. It's a great piece and a great price at $72. It also comes in a pretty ivory. I also looove this sweater and it's on sale for $29. And this cardigan is at the top of my wishlist- loving the detail on it.

My studded Chelsea boots were also a steal of a purchase. I bought them at 50% off and love the studded detail. I'm big into grey and love wearing a monochromatic grey look. These Marc Fisher boots also come in black and are still 50% off!

My jeans are also a favorite purchase of mine that I made early in the fall. They are by Citizens of Humanity and are a cropped style- perfect length for petite ladies (like me) and a true "cropped" style for anybody taller. They are also high rise which I think are perfect for everyone, but especially for moms. 1. Because they suck you in and 2. for any of you who have had c sections- if your incision site still bothers you (as it does for me) then high rise jeans are a great option. I'm finding many of my jeans that are a lower rise really bother me after wearing them for longer than a few hours. When I wear my high rise jeans I'm always way more comfortable. If you are looking for a more affordable option, I've heard amazing things about these grey high rise skinny jeans.

I hear we are in for a lonnnng winter which means it's time to stock up on cozy sweaters. I've linked a ton of my favorites below. And some hats as well :)
