Resolutions

JACKET:: Vince (old, similar here) // SWEATER:: Honey Punch // JEANS:: Rag & Bone // BOOTS:: Stuart Weitzman (also love these) // HAT:: Jocelyn // SUNNIES:: Ray Ban

I am back from vacation and it's 1/1/18! It feels like 2017 totally flew by but I'm not looking back I'm looking forward! A new year always brings about a new YOU! My resolutions are health and wellness based with a side of responsible spending ( maybe I don't need that 3595 pair of jeans?) BUT I wanted to share a few resolutions with you as well as my outfit (duh!)

1. You are what you eat! I want to incorporate more vegetables into my life and really cut down on the sweets. I love dessert, I crave something sweet after lunch AND dinner but after doing a ton of reading about the affects sugar has on the body it's time to stop. I want to embrace cleaner eating habits (nothing radical) and to start meal prepping my lunch! When I think about all the money I have wasted on buying my lunch almost everyday it's just not worth it. So today,  I downloaded fresh direct, looked up a few recipes on SkinnyTaste and I already am excited about my ideas on what I will be prepping for lunch! It' so easy for me to forget about my yoghurt in the fridge at a work and nosh on something else but bring it on 2018!

2. Get moving! I was very good about going to Fly Barre almost everyday in the year leading up to my wedding. Then I boycotted excercising for about 6 months post wedding and then I tried a few new things. I am a HUGE fan of hot yoga at Y7 but was starting to miss Fly Barre. So I quit class pass ( I had a hard time only taking a studio once with the 5 pack) and am doing a monthly unlimited at Fly Barre while also incorporating some hot yoga. These two exercises really work for my body to lean out and tone up. I have tried a handful of barre classes but Fly Barre is by far my favorite since it also incorporates cardio. And once against the whole "yoga thing" I am now a total namaste yogi. I obviously bought my own mat, bag and towel after my first week of classes back in the Spring! So here's to sweating!

3. Be Myself! 2018 is the year I'm turning 30 and I can confidently say I'm not scared!! I love where I am in my life and it's been quite the ride for my 20s so I am ready for a new chapter. I have openly admitted I am addicted to jeans and all grey sweatshirts, I am in love with my high maintenance dog and pizza Fridays with a side of Netflix will never get old. With all of that, my online shopping will probably never let down and neither should yours! Chrissy and I will be discussing more topics in 2018 not only touching on fashion. Feel free to message us and tell us what you want to hear! But just to stay true to myself let's talk about my outfit below!

My Stuart Weitzmans were a major score on Saks Off Fifth and have quickly become my favorite winter boot! Sadly they are no longer at Saks Off Fifth but these boots Chrissy just purchased are very similar and are on my wish list! The white mock neck I'm wearing was a total impulse buy on Bloomingdales ( I needed something else to get the discount) but turns out I (and many people when I storied it) love it!! It has a mock neck, and the inside is fleece so it's extra warm! With this week below 10 degrees I will definitely be wearing this one day to work. My jeans are high waisted with an uneven hem so they look especially good with flats or loafers. And my jacket and hat were old purchases but still favorites of mine. So stay warm this week and cheers to 2018!!
