Friday Favorites :: Bell Sleeves

Happy freezing Friday! Seriously, when did it become winter? Bell sleeves are having quite the moment this fall and we are definitely digging this trend. You can find bell sleeves on sweaters, blouses and dresses in all of your favorite fall hues. I recently purchased this sweater and it is super soft and under $60! A Native Look

A Native Look, designed by Kate Ward is a small Raleigh, NC based company that repurposes vintage kilim rugs to make statement accessories. When Kate reached out to us about collaborating, Chrissy and I were both excited to design a post around styling a necklace from Kate's line.

Kate gifted each of us with a beautiful necklace to style and we took our pieces in similar but different directions. Mine being the brighter of the two, I chose to let the necklace do the talking with my outfit...

Chrissy's piece was more neutral in color, so she chose to style her necklace with a leather jacket and denim that both accented the colors on the repurposed kilim rug.

A Native Look is a really fun and easy way to get creative with your daytime look. We both are huge fans of simple grey sweaters and these necklaces were a really fun way to make statement with our neutral looks!

One thing I do not have in my closet are the insanely popular Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots. I a am a devout bootie lover, whether they are flat or with a block heel I am a total sucker for a great bootie.


I have to admit I am very curious to try the Stuart Weitzman Lowland boot. I want to get a great pair of over the knee that I wont get sick of. It's definitely a certain look and I want to invest in a solid pair.


Owning a pair of Stuart Weitzman heels, and sandals I think its time I bought a pair of their infamous boots. The Lowland boot seems like the perfect choice for an over the knee newbie!


The Lowland come in various colors but I have to say the buff suede and that londra suede are my favorite!

Friday Favorites :: Fall Outerwear

Tuesday Shoesday :: Dolce Vita Tessey Booties

Having yesterday off was absolutely glorious! I wish Monday's naturally a part of the weekend, I feel much more relaxed today knowing it's Tuesday and I have one less day keeping me from the weekend.
Feeling extra chilly this weekend I broke out one of my favorite pair of booties, the Joie Barlows. Having already done a Tuesday Shoesday post on these, I decided to look on Shopbop for a similar pair of booties that I am thinking of getting during the Shopbop Friends & Family Sale that launches TOMORROW!


The Dolce Vita Tessey's have been in my loves for a few weeks now. I am loving the side slits, both colors ( dark saddle and anthracite) giving these bootie a really different feel than my other lower rise ones. Style File :: Blush Tones

So it's been two weeks (and one day) since we welcomed baby Charlie to our family and let's just say it has been a very interesting (and long) two weeks. He is the sweetest little baby and we love watching Hunter and Lila interact with him. It took a couple of days for them (especially Lila) to warm up to him but now they love taking turns holding "their" baby. As exhausting as it is, we are loving every minute of it and feel super lucky to have three sweet babes to love and watch grow.

I put on my first "real" outfit yesterday (aka I finally got out of my sweatpants and leggings). Fall is my favorite season and I've been craving to dress in something fall-ish but dressing after having a baby, especially when you have a c-section, is super difficult. I only lasted about an hour in my jeans and sweater but it made me happy and I felt a little more human. I needed a sweater that was on the baggier side and after digging around in my closet I found an old Joie rose colored favorite (as seen on instagram) As much as I love rich burgundies and oxblood colors for fall, I'm also super drawn to the softer, gentler blush tones. I recently spotted this sweater while doing a little online shopping and after looking at the price tag I decided I had to purchase it. This one has been on my wishlist for a while now and I'm really hoping it will go on sale (like major sale) so I can make it mine. Check out some more blush toned sweaters::
