Resort Roundup
DRESS:: Sohalia
We are back in cold CT after some much needed sunshine in Florida. I've been working on my Resort Wear roundup and can't wait to share some new finds with you. I received so much feedback after I posted about my Walker & Wade dress the other day- you all love when I share new brands with you!
Another new line I've been meaning to share with you is Sohalia. Sohalia is a resort wear line by Erin Melear that just recently launched. Their pieces are all handmade, small batch, ethically made and block printed by artisans in Jaipur. They use organic dyes and inks and focus on making sustainable choices as often as possible- from their packaging, tags, and using fabrics that have a longer lifecycle. I'm wearing one of their Pia caftans above and it is beautiful. It's a one size fits all and the adjustable drawstring is what makes that possible. I have to take the length up a bit (5'2") but the cut of the dress is so pretty. I'm obsessed with this robe that can be worn lounging or on the beach!
There are so many Brinker & Eliza pieces on sale over on Shopbop. I snagged these earrings and wore them in Florida. I also bought these Sophie Monet earrings and these hoops by Shashi.
PS: Net-A-Porter is offering an additional 20% off most sale items- applied in the cart! So many good finds- my Loveshackfancy dress from last summer is seriously marked down- one of my favorites!

Going Somewhere Warm?
SUIT:: Carmen Marc Valvo // PAREO:: Loveshackfancy // SANDALS:: Steve Madden
Sorry I've been so quiet here! We were in Florida last week and flew home Monday. The first half of the trip was warm and sunny but the second chunk of the trip was cold and rainy. Regardless of the so-so weather, the change of scenery was just what we needed. Now we are back home and my number one priority right now is figuring out how to get Ellie to sleep without waking for her pacifier all night long. You would think since she is my fourth baby that I would have it all figured out by now but honestly every baby is so different! Any tips?!
Our quick trip to Florida got me all excited for the warm weather clothing out right now. Since we had a few decent beach days, I was able to wear my new pareo by Loveshackfancy. This one piece and sarong combo is my go-to for the beach. I have had this one piece for a few years and it still looks brand new. It comes in a ton of colors, too! I've rounded up my favorite resort wear pieces below! Xo
NOTEWORTHY MENTIONS::
1. I'm not usually a two piece type of gal but really loving this top and skirt set.
2. My favorite brand has come out with the prettiest spring pieces: loving this dress, this dress and this one, too!
3. If I were a bikini, this would be it!
4. Love this sarong and this one as well.

Designer Spotlight :: Coast
DRESS:: Coast // EARRINGS:: Madewell (similar here and here) // HAT:: Hat Attack (on sale!) // SHOES:: old but love these
I love discovering new and up and coming brands, especially ones that are run by local women! I was introduced to Emily from Coast by my good friend Shannon and after browsing her pieces of embroidered dresses, I knew it was the perfect match. Her coastal inspired dresses are perfect for days spent at the beach and they make the best coverups. You can also wear them running around town by simply adding a slip underneath- they have one here but you can also use one you already own. The entire collection is made in small batches in a workshop in India and feel like one of a kind pieces. I'm wearing the Windansea Dress and it is the perfect fit over my bump. All of her dresses are meant to fit loosely for an easy, breezy summer look. The embroidery is beyond beautiful and the fluttered sleeve gives off a nice feminine touch. I'm a huge fan of the Stinson Dress as well! Check out the rest of Emily's dresses and as always, if you have any questions please feel free to reach out!

Resort 2018
DRESS:: Poupette St. Barth (different color here) // BAG:: Palmer & Purchase
There seems to be a pattern going on in my house. I'm not sure if my kids are plotting against me or what but they've been taking turns getting up at night, every night for the past three weeks. I'm not going to lie, I can function pretty well with little sleep. I don't mind waking up early. 5AM is my usual wake up call from my boys. Lila generally likes to sleep in. And by sleep in, I mean she sleeps until 6AM at the latest. But this week, I feel like I can barely think straight and I'm exhausted. I feel very blah, especially with this miserable cold weather. I'm counting down the days until our next sunny escape and decided to round up some favorite resort wear this season. A few things I'm obsessing over::
1. This bag by Hat Attack. I love a good beach tote and this macrame straw one is so unique.
2. This beach coverup. Melissa Odabash does beach wear so well and I'm always loving her coverups. I also love this one. Yes, they are definitely on the pricier side but I've said it before...I'm crazy when it comes to protecting my skin in the sun and will always splurge a little when it comes to beach coverups because I wear them practically every day of the summer. I try to find ones with sleeves and a higher back.
3. One Pieces. My bikini days are long gone...Maybe when I start working out again I'll wear a bikini but for now, one pieces are my best friend. This is the one I bought last year (in white) and was stopped almost daily on the beach for info on it. This year my eyes are on this one in pebble and this one.
4. Love this off the shoulder beach dress
5. I've been wanting this clutch for such a long time. I love the details on the side and it would good well with everything.
