Summer Skin

Hello hello and happy July!! The fourth came and went so quickly this year. We were lucky enough to head to Nantucket for a week and had a really nice, low key time. We pretty much stuck to the beach and home and enjoyed takeout from our favorite Millie's! We are planning on heading back in August (hopefully!)

I'm excited to continue my partnership with Nordstrom today and share some of my favorite skincare products that can all be found in Nordstrom's beauty section! They have the best selection of products out there and I'm always finding something new that I want to try. The current product I'm dying to try: Dr. Barbara Sturm Night Serum. One look at the price tag and I want to cry BUT I've heard it is a miracle product and transforms your skin overnight. Her Super Anti-Aging Serum is also supposed to be incredible. (check out their Gifts with Purchase page- great way to find products that you've been wanting to try and getting a few freebies with it!)

INDIE LEE // I try to use clean beauty products as often as I can and Indie Lee has become a favorite line of mine. I've used her CoQ-10 Toner for a few years now. I strayed and tried something new a few months ago but immediately went back to my Indie Lee toner. I saturate a cotton pad with the toner and apply to my face and neck every morning and every night before I apply my serums and creams. I also spray it directly on to my face throughout the day as a little pick me up! I bought Indie Lee Gentle Daily Peel this winter and loved it. I use these a few times a week and it gives my skin a quick glow by getting rid of any dead skin cells. I could use a new body scrub and this one is supposed to be great. If you are looking to test out a few products, this discovery set is the best way to do it! The facial oil, cleanser and toner are amazing products.

EYE CREAM // I've used Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado for years and it is the best eye cream out there that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. A little goes a long way and usually the larger size lasts me close to a year. I've also heard rave reviews on TULA Skincare Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm. It's a stick that you can use as your eye cream but also throughout the day to give your eyes an instant pick me up. This new version with rosehip oil is also supposed to be amazing. Does anyone use? I might just try both!

MAGIC CREAM // I mentioned this cream already in my makeup roundup with Nordstrom here, but I have to mention it again because I love Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream. It is a staple in my beauty round up because it is instantly moisturizing (there's a reason it's called Magic Cream). I mostly use it at night whenever I need an extra boost of moisture.

HAIR CARE // Living Proof is one of my favorite Hair Care lines. My daughter and I rely pretty heavily on the Restore Perfecting Spray for right after the shower to get out any tangles. It leaves our hair so smooth. I also love love  their Flex hairspray (only hairspray I use) and the Perfect Hair Day Shampoo and Conditioner

BEAUTY TOOLS // If you haven't tried a Jade Roller, try one- trust me! If you get facial/jaw tightness this little tool will help you relax your muscles. It also helps to detoxify the lymphatic system and firms your skin (but mostly it just feels really good- especially when chilled in the fridge for a bit!)

Unrelated to beauty BUT Nordstrom has so many goodies on sale right now- check out all of their Rebecca Taylor pieces- most are marked down up to 70%!

Thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!
