The temperatures this September in New York have been all over the place. Today I'm sadly back in sandals and a maxi dress since it will be close to 90 degrees!! I did this shoot about two weeks ago when the weather was starting to feel like Fall - there was a slight crisp in the air so I decided it was perfect for a sweatshirt dress.
Not all sweatshirt dresses have to be "potato -sack esque" the one I'm wearing above is an old one from the Gap but I really like it because its slightly tailored and it has pockets! I am a total sucker for a dress with pockets, they are just more playful. How cute is this bell sleeved one and this lace up one?!
I also really like sweatshirt dresses to throw on for work. They look great with a pair of booties (my faves) or flats and best part is that they don't wrinkle! These types of dresses are a solid transition piece into colder months and really cute to pair a jean jacket with. I love the sleeves on this grey one!
