We came back from our little vacation to Florida last Thursday and to say it's been a bit of an adjustment is an understatement. While vacationing with three little ones isn't the most relaxing thing in the world, I do miss our carefree and schedule free days on the beach. There is something extremely refreshing about not having a schedule to keep up with. We also ended up eating out almost every night with the kids which is something we hadn't done since Charlie was born. It shockingly went really well and everyone was on their best behavior.

We pretty much went to the beach everyday (my two older ones are total beach creatures-especially Lila) but I stole one afternoon away to do some shopping at Saks with my mom (and Charlie). I've always loved straw bags, especially for the beach and when I stumbled upon this handwoven beach basket by JADEtribe I fell in love a little bit :) The pop of color from the tassel pom pom charm was a plus but I think what I loved the most was the colorful drawstring lining inside of the bag. Charlie started to lose his patience while I was looking at the bags so I only got a quick look and wasn't able to purchase. I did a ton of browsing once I got home and was pleasantly surprised by JADEtribe's colorful creations- this is another favorite! I've linked some of my favorites below. Now can we please just get through the rest of this winter...

PJs All Day

Confession:: I'm still in my PJs while typing this out and I guess it's fitting given what this post is about! We are currently "sleep training" Charlie and it is super brutal. He was an amazing sleeper as a newborn straight through until about a month or so ago. He started to resist being swaddled. So we stopped swaddling and he stopped sleeping through the night/getting up every hour to be held and rocked which I know is sweet but when your other children wake up at 5am it makes for a really tough day. I'm pretty sure all moms can agree that sleeping issues are by far one of the most stressful things when it comes to having a baby. But all it takes is one gummy smile and all sleeping woes are forgotten!

I recently posted the picture above of my three little ones on my personal account and had friends texting, emailing etc about the PJs the kids were wearing. They are all by Roberta Roller Rabbit and to say I'm a little obsessed is an understatement. Hunter was given his first pair of PJs when he was first born and I've been hooked ever since. RRR has the sweetest patterns in the best colors and Hunter and Lila both love picking out which ones they will wear at night. We have quite the collection now and I'm thinking about picking these ones up for Easter:: for Hunter, Lila & Charlie. Designer Spotlight :: Levi's

Levi's have long earned the title "mom jeans" but since being revived the past few seasons, they have earned themselves a whole new title. Levi's are now the "it" jean and have been earning this cool factor by introducing style after style on all of the major sites ( Revolve & Shopbop our faves)!


Unsure on this oldie being revived, I went to Saks to try on a  pair and (just ignore the name) and ended up purchasing the "wedgie icon" which are now one of my favorite pairs! Not only are they extremely flattering but the price point could not be better. There are a ton of Levi styles I've been eyeing - I rounded them all up below!

Tuesday Shoesday :: Mules

As a stay at home mom of three, dressing comfortably is now more important than ever. During these colder months I kind of go into hibernation mode and rarely dress in anything other than leggings and a sweatshirt. No point in dirtying perfectly good clothing with spit up and ketchup! But as soon as the temperatures start warming up I get right back to dressing like myself. Comfortably of course. And that typically means jeans, a sweater and a comfortable pair of flats or sneakers. I bought these Vince slip on mules a few months ago and have been wearing them nonstop here in sunny Florida. I wasn't a huge fan of the mule style at first but the more I saw them, the more I loved them. Super comfortable but much more stylish than a pair of sneaks. I love this espadrille style for spring!

Friday Favorites :: Dainty Necklaces

It should be no surprise to any of our readers that Chrissy and I LOVE dainty gold pieces of jewelry. From rings, to a fully stacked arm party, our favorite is layering necklaces. Delicate gold necklaces, with letters, or stones or just plain we are always scooping up different lengths to make our necklace game strong.

Friday Favorites :: Bari Lynn Keychains

I love adding a really fun keychain to my keys or bags. The fur pom pom keychain trend has taken off over the past year and I am constantly seeing photos on Instagram and Pinterest picking up this trend. No longer are keychains just for our backpacks in middle school ( guilt of having multiple) but keychains are adorning bags and keys making them a little more playful.

 Sold at Saks, Neimans and good old Lesters, Bari Lynn ( technically made for little girls) has designed a handful of "emoji" bedazzled keychains complete with fur pom poms!

I added the pink and purple unicorn for some extra sparkle to my keys! My mom even has the crown one - Santa added it to her stocking!

Friday Favorites :: Light Fixtures

New year, new...light fixtures? When we moved into our house almost 4 years ago, I wanted everything decorated and ready to go as soon as possible. I had just had Hunter and was completely gutting our house and didn't want anymore projects- so I ordered a ton of the same light fixtures online and had them installed days later. My mom kept telling me to slow down and take my time picking things out and I, of course, ignored her. I assured her I would love all the light fixtures I ordered and that they were just what I was looking for. Well, my mother was right (is pretty much always right) and I wish I had taken her advice.

I've been doing a ton of online browsing and saving my favorite images from Pinterest and Instagram whenever a pretty light fixture catches my eye. I've replaced one light we had going down our flight of stairs with this light fixture and I absolutely love it. I think the right light fixture can really make a room pop. I'm on the hunt for something unique for Lila's room- what do you think about this one?

Embroidered Denim

I have been seeing this trend for a while now and it kind of ignited my inner child. I remember wearing denim overalls with flower patches sewn on (GAP anyone?) and loving the creativity that was added to my outfit.

 Towards the end of 2016 a ton of embroidered denim has been coming out. All over Instagram I was seeing really cool quotes or slightly cheeky ones on the back of jean jackets, the cuff of jeans and even a little script along the waist line.

I am really into this trend, it's a little more personal than a simple monogram don't you think? I've been toying whether to get a jean jacket or a pair of pants to embroider and then comes the decision on what exactly to put on the clothing!?

Marysia Swim

Maybe it's because I've been housebound for the past six days while my family fights off the stomach flu (worst.thing.ever- the perfect way to ring in 2017) but all I seem to be thinking about is warmer weather and sandy beaches. While browsing through Instagram I came across Marysia Swim's new styles and fell in love. I'm a sucker for a white bathing suit and my pre-baby self would have definitely snatched this one up. I love the style of the top. And how sweet are her styles for the little ones? I can definitely see my Lila girl in this one! And of course, a rash guard to protect her fair skin!
