Friday Favorites :: Gladiator Sandals

Gladiator Sandals are back and better than ever. I remember a few years back when the Gladiator Sandal started popping up everywhere I was a bit hesitant to test out the trend. I ended up buying a pair of tan Jeffery Campbell sandals and ended up loving them. This season, the Gladiator is back in full force. My two absolute favorites right now are these and these. I don't think I could pull off the styles that come up to the knee but these shorter versions are right up my alley. Check out a few more of our favorite Gladiators::

Summer Steals for under $150

Everyone loves a good deal so I've been shopping around to find my favorite summer steals and thought I'd share them with you! I absolutely love everything about this dress that I posted on Instagram the other day. The light fabric, the lace details, and the pretty overlay. I almost want to buy a second one just in case something happens to the one I have. It's a dress I know I will wear summer after summer after summer. Ringing in at just under $28, this maxi is a must. The color and the cut is perfect for a summer date night. And moving on to summer accessories:: loving these shades and these espadrilles.

The Perfect Maxi

I love wearing maxi dresses during the warmer months. They are great to wear to work with sandals and if meeting for cocktails, throw on some wedges and you're all set.

They are comfy, and an easy option for a hot day. I am in the market for a few new maxis - love this one to wear with a belt to work on a hot summer day, and this one for a night out on a roof top for cocktails!

If you are looking for a wider selection for style and price my two recommendations are ASOS and Revolve. After doing some searching I found those two sites had the best range of options! To make things easier, I have rounded up maxis from casual to dressy to suit everyone's summer schedules!

So it's the Thursday of Memorial Day weekend and many of us will be in our swim suits. I've noticed the gym is a little more crowded with everyone gearing up for that summer body. I love activewear! If I could wear my gym clothes to work I would. I love a great pair of sneakers and leggings with a cozy knit top.

Many of my friends and me included, often wear our gym clothes on the weekend's even if we have already or haven't hit the gym. The fitness world has become a huge industry and showing up to the various classes I take, most women are "decked" out. Trying to keep it spicy at the gym (new leggings get me motivated!) Friday Favorites :: Kayu

If you love a good statement clutch then you are sure to love all the designs by Kayu, a California based label founded by Jamie Lim. Growing up in South East Asia, Jamie was surrounded by artisanal crafts and founded Kayu to help preserve and cultivate these crafts and techniques used to create them. Kayu works with artisans from Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The clutches are made with natural materials such as shells, wood, and straw. Each bag is created by hand and sometimes take days to complete. You could call each piece a work of art and the details put into each bag is stunning. I bought this one for my mom a few years back and borrow it all of the time. I think it's time to finally make one of them mine! Loving this and this one.

Designer Spotlight :: Vince

Vince has long been a staple in my life. The brand is classic and totally on point with exactly what every woman needs in her closet. We need the basics. Staples that will never go out of style but aren't just your average cotton tee. We need to feel good about our staple pieces because they will never go out of style. Vince has given that to me - perfect fit, comfortable, timeless style.

My new Vince "Robin" espys. They are incredibly comfy and the light leather matches just about everything. I recommend going a size down. They only come in full sizes and tend to run a little big!

 That one stop shop place I know will have the perfect silk blouse or "fancy" tee I'm feeling i need to update. This Spring / Summer 2015, i have scooped up two pairs of their shoes and am eyeing this romper for my "safari chic" honeymoon. Is it too early to start thinking about that!?!

Wedding season is upon us! From Spring through the Summer there are countless weddings to attend  to and it may be the same crowd at several. With that being said, try and mix it up with a few different pieces. Crazy for Pineapples

All of the sudden Pineapples have been popping up everywhere! From Soludos to Tuckernuck's home décor, these bright babies are all the rage. I have to admit.. I jumped on this Pineapple craze and I am a little obsessed.

Having just purchased these two Pineapple jars for my kitchen (one holds gummi bears for me and the other treats for Penelope!) I am starting to see more and more Pineapple art, accessories, home décor and fashion. I mean how cute is this Wildfox bikini!?

I don't know how you feel about this odd looking fruit but they kind of brighten up the day and for those of you who don't know - Pineapples actually are a sign of "welcome!"

Worthy of a Fiesta

Happy Cinco de Mayo everybody and more importantly... HAPPY happy birthday to Kaitlin! Hope you have an amazing day and get to celebrate with some margs & guacamole!

Speaking of margs…this weather has me craving an outdoor happy hour like no other.  It's safe to say that won't happen anytime soon and instead of happy hours, we are dealing with the witching hours.
