Fall Trend Report :: The Midi Skirt

SKIRT:: Joie // TOP:: Reformation // BOOTIES:: Alexander Wang (in black)  // BAG:: Celine // NECKLACE:: Asha, Zoe Lev, Haverhill // EARRINGS:: Madewell

I saw this Joie Pealle midi skirt back in August and purchased it on the spot because I knew it would be perfect not only for fall but all year round. It's a neutral snakeskin print in a flowy silk which allows you to wear it with a simple tee or tank in the hot summer months and with a chunky sweater in the cool months. I feel like midi skirts are a definite style staple because of their versatility. They can be dressed up or down in a matter of seconds and are so easy and comfortable to wear. I'm going to show you how to style this Joie one multiple ways a little later on Instagram stories today so make sure you check it out!

For this look, I paired my midi skirt with this simple Reformation tee which is amazing by the way. It's fitted and I love the ribbed texture. I wore it a few days ago with jeans and sandals and it will be my go to for layering this fall and winter. You know I love my gold jewelry and I layered my necklaces and some of my favorite bracelets.

I'm 100% on board with the midi skirt trend and I know it will be around for a long time. If you are looking for a style steal skirt, I love this pleated one from H&M. And I LOVE this one from Mango. This cardigan would be so pretty paired with a midi skirt- it caught my eye so quickly this morning and it was an instant "add to cart" for me. This vegan leather skirt is really pretty and luxe looking.  I've rounded up some of my favorite midi skirts as well as what to wear on top, below! Happy Friday people! xo
