Spring, you here?

TOP:: Club Monaco (on sale) // JEANS:: Mother (similar here and on sale) // BAG:: Pamela Munson // SHOES:: Frye (love this new style) // EARRINGS:: Bronzallure (similar here)

My pity party is officially over. Our spring break was pretty much ruined and my kids were pretty crushed about canceling our Florida trip but everyone is on the mend and that's all that matters. We have our move to the new house coming up and hopefully some warmer spring weather to look forward to. With warmer weather comes a little wardrobe refresh and one of my favorite stores for pretty pieces is having a big sale. Right now you can take 25% off your purchase of $150 or more at Club Monaco with code HELLOSPRING

I picked up this sweater a few weeks ago at my local Club Monaco store because I thought it was the prettiest layering piece. It's perfect on its own but would also look great with a chunky cardigan over it or a nice Moto jacket. I also have this jacket that is actually kind of perfect as a top with a lace cami underneath.

Club Monaco has a really solid collection of denim. They carry two of my favorite brands, Mother and Citizens. I currently have this pair of denim in my cart. I have that exact same style in a blue denim and love that it comes in white. This pair by Mother I also own and they are very similar to the style I'm wearing in these pictures.

PS: How pretty is this Pamela Munson basket bag? I love all Pamela Munson styles. They are so feminine and perfect for spring!

When life gives you lemons...

We are supposed to be in Florida enjoying the warm sunshine and splashing around in the ocean. A trip my older two had been counting down to on the calendar every night at bedtime since January. Instead we are stuck at home with what feels like the longest and worst case of the flu ever. I'll spare you all the details but let's just say it's been an absolute nightmare involving two trips to the hospital. I'm praying we are over the worst of it and everyone starts getting much better. I haven't slept in what feels like forever and if I'm being completely honest had a few mini breakdowns today on the phone with my mom and sister. We've been hit with the flu before but it was never as bad and as scary as it has been these past ten days. For all the parents out there who are dealing with more serious health issues with their children- you are absolute superheroes in my eyes.

Right now we are trying to get everyone healthy again and once everyone is healthy we will figure out how to turn these lemons into lemonade...

The Best Mini Dresses for Spring

DRESS:: Misa // JACKET:: Driftwood (similar here and here) // SNEAKERS:: Golden Goose (budget friendly option) // SUNGLASSES:: Ray-Ban // BAG:: Celine

Spring has SPRUNG! Not really, but it is officially Spring! Which means all of our viruses and colds that we have going on over here should magically disappear, right?

With warmer temperatures right around the corner, I have dresses on the brain. Specifically mini dresses that I can dress down with sneakers during the day and dress up with a pair of heels at night. I bought this MISA one during the Shopbop sale a few weeks ago and love pairing it with my suede Moto jacket on brisk days. This dress will also be coming with me to Florida next week! I have my eye on this one for Florida as well and would love to pair it with my new sandals.

**Not related but came across this top that so many of you loved while I was making this post and I'm happy to say it is now 55% off!

**Also have to mention Rebecca Taylor is having their Friends & Family sale! So many beautiful dresses and tops out right now. Definitely check it out.

Mondays with Indie Lee

**Before I even share my thoughts on these products below I would love for you to read about Indie Lee's inspiring journey on how and why she started her clean skincare line.

I have been an avid user of Indie Lee's CoQ-10 toner for a while now. Last August to be exact. I use it every night after I shower and it's the first step in my nightly ritual. I was so excited when they sent me a package with some of their other products to try. It's only been a week and I know that's way too soon to see any results BUT I certainly feel them.  So many of you asked to share my initial thoughts on these products so here is a quick rundown.

1. Brightening Cleanser: My skin is on the dry, red side and I need to use gentle cleansers. This one smells amazing and doesn't dry my skin out. I've been using it every night since I got it and so far I'm loving it. I use my CoQ-10 toner right after.

2. Squalane Facial Oil: I'm a BIG believer in facial oil. I know so many people get worried that it will leave them feeling greasy and clog their pores but I find that it does the opposite. Indie Lee calls this oil the "holy grail" and I'm starting to feel the same way. I have been applying this after my Vitamin C serum in the morning in place of my moisturizer and it leaves my skin so soft and hydrated. I still love my Drunk Elephant moisturizer but I think I might equally love this oil as well- especially on days when I'm feeling extra dry.

3. Daily Vitamin Infusion: I have been using this daily vitamin infusion facial oil at night after I use my toner. It is great for all skin types but perfect for extra dry or sensitive skin (me!). Loaded with Vitamins A, E, C, rosehip and avocado oils, and rosemary leaf extract, this facial oil leaves my skin feeling extra hydrated and smooth. I honestly feel like I'm putting on imaginary "armor" every time I put this on at night. I will 100% be repurchasing this after I run out!

4. Daily Skin Nutrition: I have been putting this on after the Daily Vitamin Infusion and it smells so nice. It gives me an extra boost of hydration at night and my skin has been feeling super soft when I wake up in the morning.

All in all, so far so VERY good. Best of all, all Indie Lee products are cruelty free and clean!

If you are interested in testing out some of their most popular products (cleanser, toner and the squalene facial oil) Sephora makes a little discovery kit you can purchase for $29. I'm actually going to buy it so I can bring smaller samples with me to Florida.

Friday Favorites

SKIRT:: Misa // SWEATER:: Vince // SHOES:: Ann Taylor (similar here) // BAG:: Chanel // EARRINGS:: Lizzie Fortunato (different style here

It's Friday...Huge sigh. I had a really crazy week and haven't had any time to stop and catch my breath. My brain has been so heavily focused on the new house that I completely forgot we are going away pretty soon and need to start packing/preparing for traveling with four small children!

I can't tell you how happy I am that midi skirts are so popular right now. This floral one by Misa is so feminine and makes me feel so good whenever I wear it. I loved pairing it with this grey Vince sweater when the temperature was on the chillier side the other day and plan on wearing it with something like this once it starts to heat up. I feel like these midi skirts can be dressed up and down all spring and summer long and that's why they are so worth the investment. I also love this other Misa one. I've linked a ton more skirts that I'm loving right now below. On to some more of my Friday Favorites:

1. Kisuii is a new to me brand and I pretty much LOVE everything they have for warmer weather. This dress, this dress, and this dress are my favorites. Think I might buy #1 for Florida.

2. I have added two new pairs of shoes to my wishlist and they both have some funky details which I love. This pair is the first one. How fun is the heel? So funky yet still a neutral sandal that can be paired with anything. This pair of shoes is the second. How fun is the pom pom detail? The question is, will they stay clean? 🤔

3. Love these <3 earrings!

4. I kind of wish these were around for fall. Still love them though and may consider for next year!

We are...

MOVING!! After what seems like an eternity looking for a new house to accommodate our family of six, we finally found our next home! We are staying in the same town but just moving to a different part. It's funny because I never anticipated how I would feel once we found the one. Of course, I'm so excited to have some more elbow room but I'm also super sad to leave our happy and sweet first home. It's the house where all four of our kids celebrated their first Christmas. We had an accepted offer on this home the very day we had Hunter. It's where we brought Lila, Charlie and Ellie home from the hospital. This house has been filled with my happiest memories. It will forever be my "happy place" and Chris and I joke that this is where we will some day retire.  I hope whoever gets to call this house "home" next has as many happy memories as we have had.

I fully expect their to be some tears (probably only mine) on our final nights at this house and that date is TBD. With that said, I am SO excited for the next chapter. I have collaborated with some awesome women to make this next house feel like home and can't wait to show you all what we've been cooking up. Expect more home decor posts coming up on the blog and on Instagram. Can't wait for you all to see what we have in store! Xo Chrissy

Shop With Me

SWEATER :: Vince (similar here) // TEE:: Monrow // JEANS:: Citizens // SHOES:: Aquazzura // BAG:: Chanel // NECKLACE:: Asha

I went radio silent once again last week! We have been really really busy around here and have some exciting news to share. Check back this week for a quick little announcement!

Even though I've been super busy, I've still managed to do some online browsing and have found sooooooo many good things for spring. My wishlist is growing by the second. This is still one of my favorite laid back outfits. I'm a blue jean kind of gal and will wear them over pretty much anything any chance I can get (except in summer when I'm all about the flowy dresses). These mom jeans of mine are my new favorite pair. My sister told me she thought they were way too high waisted but I'm pretty much obsessed- so good for postpartum moms. Side note: when are you no longer considered postpartum?

WHAT I'M LOVING FOR SPRING::

These sandals are so cute

Obsessed with these sunglasses but WHY do they have to be so pricey? Does anyone own a pair of sunglasses by this brand?

This brand very rarely does anything for me but this dress is really pretty and a good price.

I picked up this dress a few weeks ago and can't wait to dress it up and down this spring.

I'm dipping my feet in the white shoe trend- love these mules and these booties

This is a great Staud knock off bag but it has an even cooler handle in my opinion.

Finally, a pair of jean shorts that doesn't show your butt cheeks and that aren't down to your knees. The perfect in between.

I never have the perfect sweater/cardigan to throw over my summer dresses/outfits. I think this is for sure the one.

These earrings are perfect for spring break!
