Early fall dresses

DRESS :: Velevet // SHOES :: Ann Taylor // BAG :: Chanel // NECKLACE :: Asha

Even though the weather screams summer today, I have fall and crisp, cool temps on the brain (a very pregnant woman can dream right?) I've been struggling lately because the clothes I want to be wearing right now just do not fit over this bump of mine. The two things I'm missing right now are easy blouses that I can wear alone for warmer fall days or layered under a sweater for cooler days. I'm going to do some searching this week to see if I can find some good ones. The other thing that's missing from my wardrobe are transitional fall dresses. I scooped this one up a few weeks ago at the Velvet store on Greenwich Ave and so far it's the only one I have that will work with a bump. It's made from the softest material and I love the color. It's really lightweight as well which is perfect for these early fall days. I also just ordered this one from Sezane's new fall line that just launched on Sunday (PS: obsessed with their fall collection- so many goodies like these and this sweater) I'm hoping it's roomy enough to accommodate my belly. I'm thinking it would look really cute with my grey over the knee boots or a good pair of booties. It's also the perfect silhouette for post baby. Since my selection of dresses is very limited right now, I thought I'd do a roundup of some of my favorite early fall dresses and live vicariously through all of you who get to wear them!
