I've gotten some more requests to do more home related type posts with roundups of pieces I like. Since we are in the process of looking for a new home, I haven't really done much updating to our house except for moving all of the kids' rooms around. I rearranged some furniture and added some small pieces here and there but haven't done anything fun in terms of updating furniture- although Lila's "big girl bed" will be coming next week! Whenever I feel in a rut home wise, I end up redecorating a shelf or two around the house. Last week I went into Homegoods to see if they had any storage baskets for Hunter and Lila's room and ended up walking away with some pretty random but awesome finds. The geode above was a steal from there and I snagged two of them. Etsy has some similar geodes here and here and love these bookends from Pottery barn.
