Summer Sweater

TOP:: Cupcakes & Cashmere // JEANS:: J Brand // SHOES:: Club Monaco // CLUTCH:: YSL // HOOPS:: Bronzallure

It's hard to even think about a "sweater" right now during this insane heat we have going on in NY & CT but I do love a good sweater tank in the summer. I bought two last summer from Anthropologie when I was pregnant with Charlie thinking I could for sure wear them again this summer because- hey, they were both non-maternity! I guess I didn't realize how MASSIVE my belly was at the time because I tried those sweater tanks on a few weeks ago and to say I stretched them out would be the understatement of the century. I was quite bummed about it and started searching for a new one I could wear this summer and ended up finding this one by Cupcakes & Cashmere. I had never purchased something by C&C and was a bit hesitant but decided to give it a try because I was obsessed with the lace up detail on the sides. And became even more obsessed when it came and I got to try it on. The quality is really good- the knit is soft and not heavy and it's $105. The best part is, this piece is totally transitional. I plan on pairing it with my leather moto jacket this fall. I also LOVE this one that is under $50 and extra 40% off today!

These shoes. Yes, I know I'm known to say I don't like wearing heels. But I couldn't pass these ones up. The scalloped detail and the soft color won me over. Now, I 100% admit that these are not walking shoes. Maybe a quick walk to and from the car would be ok but that's about it. Unless you are used to walking around in super high heels- these should be just fine!

Summer denim. These jeans have been on repeat since I bought them in June. I love a good light wash and this cropped style is perfect for shorties like me. No hemming!

PS:: Nordstrom kicked off their Anniversary Sale with Early Access for card members. We will be doing a huge round up of all our favorite sale picks so check back!
