Pop of Red

DRESS:: Tularosa // CLUTCH:: Figue // SHOES:: Valentino // EARRINGS:: Anthropologie // CHOKER:: Jules Smith

We have serious vacation hangover going on at our house. We spent the long weekend on Nantucket and in the words of my four year old, "Nantucket is our very special place." We absolutely love it there and are lucky enough to go back in a few weeks (if Mooma and G will have us back after the complete chaos my three created). My husband has been going there every summer since he was a baby and I've joined him every summer since we started dating. Experiencing Nantucket through our children's eyes is, as cheesy as it sounds, truly magical. Especially with our oldest. Everything from going down to the beach and visiting the playground on Children's Beach was in his eyes, the most amazing and exciting thing that could ever happen. Taking an outdoor shower after our beach trips garnered the same excitement as a trip to Disney World. And the rocks on Nantucket- apparently way cooler than the rocks at home. It's a special little island that we will continue to treasure forever!

I took these pictures forever ago and almost forgot about them until I ended up packing this clutch with me for Nantucket (my pop of red!) There's something about a fun clutch for summer that I can't resist. Since I tend to wear neutral colors (mostly white in the summer) I love adding a pop of color with an accessory and when I saw this clutch back in May I knew I wanted to make it mine. I paired it with this Tularosa Rocky Dress which also comes in a light blue color.
