In My Closet

Wow! We haven't done one of these posts in a looooong time. Mostly because whenever I buy something new I try to save it for my styled shoots. I'm actually not due to shoot with my photographer for another month because of our busy schedules so you will be seeing some more "on the fly" posts! Here is a small round up of some new items I've added to my closet. Nothing fancy, just some good everyday kind of things::

I had my eye on this top for a while and once it went on sale (60% off) I decided to buy it. It's the perfect lightweight tank for summer and the tassel trim adds a little something extra to it.

I practically live in easy dresses like this Joie one above during the summer. This one just so happens to be 30% off! It also comes in this pretty color (not on sale). I also love this chambray style which is seriously marked down. Just an easy summer dress!

Like I said, I love an effortless dress for summer. I have to admit, I'm usually not a stripe person but this dress was easy to like. It's super light and soft and can easily be dressed up or dressed down. Plus who doesn't love a good shoulder detail??

Do you remember when Cambridge Satchel came out with neon colored bags a few years ago and they were all the rage? Well I had kind of forgotten about them until I stumbled upon this  Cambridge Satchel saddle bag while browsing through Shopbop's sale items and I fell in love with the color. It's currently 40% off and it's the perfect everyday bag.

You probably saw a version of this pic on our Instagram from when I was on Nantucket for the 4th (going back soon!!). This Carmen Marc Valvo one piece suit is one of my favorites: love the one shoulder and love how it's kind of banded (helps to hold you in if you know what I mean ;). And I love wearing a pareo (sarong/beach wrap) with it and this one is now 30% off and comes in three colors. Obsessed with the little pompom details.
