Beachwear

COVERUP:: Poupette St. Barth (similar here)  // BAG:: Clutch // SHOES:: Joie

Summer is in full swing already (mid-July, seriously??) and we realized we had yet to do a swimwear and coverup round up for you guys. I usually buy a few new coverups each year because I live in them. I take my kids to the beach a few times a week and on the weekends and desperately need a good coverup to keep me feeling comfortable while I chase my kids around. I splurged all the way back in January when all the resort wear was coming out and bought the coverup above by Poupette St Barth. While it is definitely on the pricier side, I knew it was something I would get a lot of wear out of. I probably wear it multiple times a week to the beach and I'm always asked where it's from. It comes in a ton of different prints and colors.

If you follow us on Instagram (@inmyclosetblog) you probably saw my white one shoulder one piece and my beach wrap (again by Poupette St. Barth). The swimsuit was actually a pretty big hit both on social media and in real life. If I had a nickel for every time someone approached me on the beach asking about my suit... Seriously though, it is THAT good. I, for one, HATE skimpy bathing suit bottoms. I don't want to feel like I'm mooning the entire beach every time I bend over to pick up a kid or gather all of our beach toys. This one has amazing coverage and fits pretty perfectly. Yes, I'm pretty short BUT I have a longer torso which has always made finding one pieces that fit pretty difficult. This suit comes in a few colors and in a strapless version!
