Let me just start off by wishing all the moms out there a very belated Happy Mother's Day! Mine kind of went something like this: tantrum, meltdown, spit up, meltdown, tantrum, tantrum, meltdown, spit up. Charlie was only responsible for the spit up part because he is actually THE perfect baby (minus the whole waking up at 5 am every day). And my other two hoodlums didn't really get the whole Mother's Day memo and decided that Sunday was the best day to unravel. So my husband and I decided we are having a Mother's Day do over next weekend when hopefully everyone is in a much better mood. But meltdowns or not, I'm so grateful I get to be their mom. They are my greatest joys... even when they tell me I'm not their friend anymore. (What are the teenage years going to look like?!?)

On to the outfit:: I'm a huge fan of an "all white" look for summer. I think I spend the majority of the summer in either some sort of white dress or white jeans and a white top. I think you might know by now I have an addiction to white tops. I rarely wear black- a few weeks ago I put on a black silk top and my husband looked at me funny, paused, and said "why do you look so different right now?" I have nothing against it, I just prefer to wear lighter colors. I saw this top by Velvet while browsing online about a month ago and it immediately caught my attention. The crochet detail is so pretty and feminine- and the keyhole detail on the back (not pictured but click on the link to see) is stunning. I also found it for 40% off here- limited sizes!

These earrings are just about everywhere right now but I haven't come across a color quite like the ones I'm wearing. This "coral" shade is so vibrant in person and I've gotten so many compliments every time I've worn them! They also come in seven other colors.
