Ruffled

TOP:: Alexis, in black here // JEANS:: Levi's // FLATS:: Vince, also like these // EARRINGS:: Asha, similar here

I cannot say enough about these "wedgie" jeans. I know the name may be a major turnoff for most of you but I swear by these 90's inspired jeans. Not only are they a style steal, but they also come in a few different washes! 90's inspired style is back, with higher bottoms and shorter tops we are constantly seeing these type of denim all over the fashion / blogging world. I actually prefer high jeans that graze my ankles, nothing too cropped at the bottom! I love a high bottom with a shorter top and if I can tuck in the front a little then that's my go to look! I am eyeing these Levi's next!

A ruffled blouse, pants or dress in my opinion are really flirty and feminine. Ruffles are a really fun element to any piece and if your accessories are toned down anyone can pull it off! I love my Alexis blouse ( also comes in black) and I could not love this off the shoulder one more - perhaps my next purchase! I have a thing for white tops, I'm partial to them because when in a pinch they just go so naturally with everything! If ruffles are a little wild for you, start small. Maybe not ruffled sleeves but a tank - something subtle! I love this one and this tank dress!
