I've come to realize that about 3/4 of my closet is made up of a sea of grey. It's my go-to shade and goes with everything and as result makes getting dressed a whole lot easier. I've been trying (trying is the key word) to buy less and wear more of what I know works and what I feel good in. And for me that means easy sneaks, denim and something comfortable on top (and an accessory or two). I think I have worn my Joie Kidmore slip-on sneakers almost every day since ordering them. They are the most comfortable slip-ons I have ever tried on and I'm seriously considering ordering another pair.
Moving on to my grey obsession...I've always loved hats. All kinds. Baseball caps, sun hats, and hats just like the one I'm wearing in these pictures. I own a few but have found that this one from Club Monaco is my absolute favorite. I especially love it because my husband who typically doesn't comment on my wardrobe (i.e.: doesn't have much fashion sense, sorry Chris) stopped me on Sunday and said he loved me in the hat. I guess I'll be wearing it more often!
Speaking of wearing things more often, I have finally hit that point in my pregnancy (19 weeks!) where maternity clothes are a must. Most of my sweaters and tops are non-maternity but I definitely can no longer fit in my regular jeans. I tried the rubber band trick around the button but the comfort of the stretchiness that comes with wearing maternity jeans is just too good to pass up. And luckily for me, maternity denim has come a long way. My favorites are by AG- fit wise and because they make their most popular regular styles into maternity styles like the ones I have on in these pictures.
Shop some more of our favorite shades of grey and two random Christmas decorations that randomly popped up and I can't seem to get rid of! :) I do the love the JOY wreaths, though!
